Katie Kirk, the daughter of our Commercial Director, Neil Kirk, took part in an incredible challenge alongside the Leicester Neptune Swimming Club team by completing the 22-mile crossing from Dover to Calais.
The team swam relay-style across the English Channel, taking it in turns to swim for one hour each. After an incredible 10 hours and 59 minutes, they successfully completed the crossing.
Through their determination, teamwork, and resilience, the team raised an amazing £14,000 for the spinal injury charity Aspire. We are extremely proud of Katie and the entire team for taking on such a demanding challenge and supporting such an important cause.
